Many studentships are available on this well established course, including 4 well funded Marie Curie Fellowships for nationals of EU and Associated Countries not resident in the UK.
Modules include: Principles of Genetic Improvement, covering Genetics of livestock, Breeding objectives and selection, Breeding value prediction, Single and multi-trait improvement and breeding programmes in different species. Other modules include Quantitative trait analysis and genomics, which includes QTL mapping and Bioinformatics; Populations and Quantitative Genetics; Statistics and Data Analysis, Human Genetics and Evolutionary Genetics.
