October
2004 - September 2005
This
is a general overview of the activities in the livestock sector
in the APHCA region 2004-05 irrespective to source of funding
and the executing group (RAP Livestock Group, officers from AGAH,
AGAP and AGAL). We appreciate the continued support by our colleagues
from HQ.
The
year was marked by the Tsunami and the continuous threat of HPAI
and most of the human and financial resources were allocated to
support countries in their fight against the disease. Only a few
of the originally planned activities could be executed.
